Ways To Improve Blood Circulation

As we perform our daily activities,so does the body also.
In our body there are organs (heart, liver, kidney e.t.c) and so many other things that make it work as a unit. besides the organs, the blood (which is a living tissue or a bodily fluid that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients to cell and transports other things in the body) is vital for the circulation process in the body. Blood circulation involves the way blood delivers nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body. It consists of the heart and the blood vessels running through the entire body.

If you experience the following;
Chest pain
Head ache
Shortness of breath,
Blotches and blemishes in the skin
Hair loss
Poor blood flow to the brain
Considered at risk for heart attack then follow these tips to improve your blood circulation throughout your body and lower your risk of a heart attack.

(1) Increase your daily physical activity by taking long walks and exercising.

Taking long walks and exercise daily as general fitness should boost circulation.
During movement, blood transports round the body, hence it improves and aids blood circulation.

(2) Get a massage

Massage, just like exercise, increases circulation by stimulating blood flow in the soft tissue. studies have shown at some point that the overall effectiveness of massage stimulates healing. so go get one!!

(3) Avoid unhealthy foods and eat healthy

Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats (found in fish oil, olive oil, nuts and seeds) because they help the body's circulatory system and keeps us superbly healthy. Stay away from overly processed foods, foods with excessive sugar or salt, and foods with unhealthy fats (saturated and trans fats).

(4) Drink water regularly

Drink enough water during the day so that your organs don't have to fight to produce energy and perform their daily functions. You don't have to drink liters upon liters a day, but you should drink water when you're thirsty. Try drinking some warm water, as cold water is known to close up your veins.
  • Cut out the caffeine. If you can't live without it, at least minimize your intake. For instance, if you usually have two cups of coffee in the morning, have one instead. Or if you buy your coffee from a cafe somewhere, try switching to decaf or taking your coffee down one size.
  • Cut out alcohol and other sugary drinks from your diet. Sodas and overly sweet drinks do not improve your circulation, and have especially deleterious health effects.

(5) Quit smoking

smoking is bad for your health. It also affects blood circulation. Nicotine is dangerous and is also a leading cause of circulatory problems.
